Survivors include husband David McMillan of Libby; daughters Misty Wilson (Chris) of Sugarland, Texas, Amber Lundin (Steve) of Libby, and Jamie Rosling (Sam) of Libby; father Leroy Lundin (Jo Ann) of Troy, sisters Kathy Davis of Troy, Charlotte Boyland (Michael) of Kalispell, Christy Wakefield (Dave) of Kalispell and Patricia Seefeldt of Libby; brothers Allen Lundin (Sara) of Kalispell, Robert Lundin (Stephanie) of Troy, and Phillip Lundin (Allison) of Troy; grandkids, Sierra James, Brittany Martinez, Skyler Beale, Brooklyn Rosling, Bailie Rosling, Dillon Hawkins-Lundin, David Hawkins and Sam Rosling, Jr.; two great-grandchildren, Lilliana Pasko and Jesse Martinez, and numerous nieces and nephews. Robin is preceded in death by her grandfather Oscar Pavola; grandmother Ruby Pavola; mother Roberta Pavola and brother Stuart Mills.

Robin was born Oct. 16, 1955, to Leroy Lundin and Roberta Pavola. She moved to Montana at the age of 7 and attended both Libby and Troy public schools.  Robbie Ann, as she was affectionately known to her brothers and sisters, bounced back and forth between Libby and Troy, but no matter where she and her siblings lived, she was always there to provide guidance and support to them. Her love of family was evident in everything she did.

Robin met David in her younger years. He claims he would “chase her around the neighborhood”. They married April 20, 1977, settled in Libby and raised three beautiful daughters. Robin enjoyed going out dancing with David and painting the town with her grandmother Ruby. She spent a lot of time outdoors where she loved to camp, ride horses and work in her gardens. She also looked forward to getting out and going for drives in the mountains. It wasn’t uncommon to stop by the house and have a cold beer and good conversation.

She was always more than happy to pull up a seat to visit and help you with anything you needed. Robin knew her way around a kitchen and it was no secret that everyone enjoyed her food, especially her huckleberry pies. Although quiet, Robin had a unique sense of humor and if you truly knew her, you understood it and liked it. She loved watching her soaps. Even up to the very end, they stayed with her. Robin sold Avon products, worked as a waitress at Libby’s Sports Page and 4Bs for many years and then at Semi Tool.

Her greatest joy was her grandbabies. No matter where they were in this world she would go see them. When they would come to her house she always had popsicles and a special candy tin filled with goodies, and every grandchild knew where to find it. With a twinkle in her eye she would tell them, “go ahead, take another piece” and then smile at her daughters as there was nothing they could do about it.

Robin was an animal lover, having pets all her life. From her Saint Bernard Shannon to her Shihtzu Gizzy, they were her best friends and always by her side. Robin filled the room with a comforting presence that can never be replaced. She was the glue that bound the family together and will truly be missed by all who knew her.

Services were held on Saturday, Jan. 28, at the Troy Cemetery.
