Lana Westfall

Lana Mae Westfall, 69, of Libby, passed away at her home of natural causes on Sunday, Jan. 25, 2015, with her loving husband at her side.  She was born July 30, 1945 , at Harrisburg, Penn., to William A. and Elenore M. (Smyers) Fetters. Lana grew up and attended school in Butte, graduating from Butte High School with the Class of 1963.  While in high school, she was very active in all the music programs. On Nov. 13, 1964, she married Robert Westfall and in 1973 they moved to Libby where she enjoyed the mountains and the activities they provide. She became pretty skilled at hunting and fishing. Lana loved embroidery and was very skilled in this art. Many people have sweatshirts, hats, etc. with her embroidery work displayed on them. Family was always very important to Lana. She very much enjoyed hosting the family reunions. Lana loved her two sons with a passion.  She was preceded in death by her dad, William and her son, Travis.

Survivors include her husband Bob Westfall of Libby; son Roby Westfall (Debora) of Kalispell; brothers William Fetters (LaVern) of Butte, Kurt Fetters (Debbie) of Kingman, Ariz., Alan Fetters (JoJo) of Kingman, Ariz. and David Fetters of Butte; sisters Janice Brooks (Fred) of Elko, Nev. and Karen Dutton of Butte and uncle Karl Smyers of Butte.
