City lifts health advisory for city water
The health advisory issued regarding water quality for City of Libby water users has been lifted, according to City Administrator Jim Hammons.
The order was put in place during last week's flooding because the high volume of water created excessive turbidity, although turbidity levels were never high enough to prompt a boil order on the water.
Hammons said the water had been tested several times Tuesday morning, and plant operators expressed confidence that it met all applicable water quality standards, so the decision was made to lift the advisory.
