Volunteers made festival happen

Letter to the Editor:

We just wanted to take a minute and say “thank you” to all our wonderful volunteers that helped make this year’s Kids Christmas Carnival and Tree Lighting a huge success.

Allen Olsen, Lisa Block and Roxanna Escudero took over this venture four years ago to continue, and expand, a Christmas event for kids and their families. However, without our many volunteers this wouldn’t be possible for the children and their families!

Thank you Don Smart, Ray Johnson, Melissa and Lacy Pardini, Vivian Doherty, Libby Area Chamber of Commerce, Cabinet Peaks Medical Center, Kootenai Kiwanis, McDonalds and

the Hamburglar, Boy Scout Troop 1971, Libby School District, Kootenai Karacters – Cindy Curtiss, Rhiannon Wilson, Angil Kraft, Stormie Miller, George Kraft, and Matt Hock, Dr. Fred and Jane Conkel, Sharon Brossman and Libby Christian Church, Libby Church of God, Pastor Laurie Stuck and Faith Bible Church, Jenny Moen, Stan and Blanche Hudson, Managhan’s Furniture, Arlen Magill and family, D.C. Orr, Laura and Carla with Antler Tree Nursery, Lisa Block with the Sewing Patch, Allen Olsen with Antler Tree Nursery, Andy and Roxanna Escudero with Good News Christian Books & Music/For HIS Glory Photography, City of Libby, and anyone else we may have missed. (Please, please, please accept our apology if we missed your name.)

Allen, Lisa and Roxanna would love to see more businesses, organizations and individuals join us next year to make this event bigger and more fun, continuing in the Christmas spirit.

In addition to the Kids Carnival and Tree Lighting next year there will be a Christmas parade kicking off the festivities. If you are interested, please contact us at 293-3525 (Allen), 293-4994 (Lisa) or 293-4622 (Roxanna).

Again, Thank you all, Merry Christmas, happy New Year, and God bless,

Allen Olsen, Lisa Block and Roxanna Escudero,

Libby
