70, of Libby

 

Lois Dea Dickerman-Auge, 70, passed away at the Life Care Center in Post Falls, Idaho, on Nov. 30, 2015, after a long illness and a short stay in hospice. Lois was born Lois Dea Varnes on Oct. 23, 1945, in Provo, Utah, to Leon and Enid (Killam) Varnes. She came to Libby as a little girl and received her education there. Lois was loved by many and was known to be an adventurous person who continued on no matter what life brought her way. May those she loved find peace knowing she goes on to a better place to be with her Heavenly Father.

Lois is survived by her six children, Marty Marks of Thompson Falls, Lini Kenelty-Yeager of Great Falls, Michael Kenelty of Billings, Denise Kenelty-Shaver and Kali Payton Breitenstein both of Rathdrum, Idaho, and Derrel Payton of Camby, Ind.; brothers Larry Steinmetz of Portland, Ore., and Edward Varnes of Gillette, Wyo.; sister Mary Jo Payton of Troy; grandchildren Ashley, Brittany and Tamera Shaver, Allen and Trinity Cross; Kerry and Tavin Breitenstein, Shawn, Jamie, Savannah and MacKenzie Yeager; Echo, Brianna, Dalton, Chelse and Jacob Payton, great-grandchildren Alexis and Dillon Hunter and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husbands, Al Dickerman and Ron Auge; her sister and brother-in-law, Irene and Al Beach and brothers-in-law Thirl Payton and Bob Yeager.

Services for Lois will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 8, 2015, at Libby Christian Church. Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until 8 p.m. Monday, Dec. 7, 2015, at Schnackenberg & Nelson Funeral Home in Libby. Online condolences and memories may be shared by visiting www.schnackenbergfh.com.
