Sherry Flaten

Sherry Flaten, 82, died Sunday, Aug. 23, 2015, at Cabinet Peaks Medical Center in Libby.  Born at St. Anthony, Idaho, to Griffith and Hattie Cherry on August 7, 1933, Sherry and her late husband John had been residents of south Lincoln County for many years. She had been a bartender and club manager for several local clubs and she and John had also operated a restaurant and bar at Glacier National Park for a period of time.

She was preceded in death by her husband John; a granddaughter, Buffy Murray and a brother, Dee Sharp.  She is survived by her daughter, Trudi Jellison Robinson of Troy; grandchildren Lacey Robinson of Twin Falls, Idaho and Justin Murray of Roundup; a great-grandson, Dominic Smith of Nebraska; sisters, Linda Flores of Battle Mountain, Nev., and Barbara Boyd of Twin Falls, Idaho, as well as nieces, nephews and many dear friends in Troy and Libby.
