Lucy Mae Platts, age 78, of Libby, passed away Aug. 14, 2015, at Kalispell Regional Medical Center. She was born to Bill and Maria Williams in Libby on Nov. 5, 1936.

Lucy was an avid gardener. She especially enjoyed sharing bouquets of her flowers with friends and family. In years past she enjoyed fishing and camping, and used to go out and catch a mess of fish for breakfast.

As a copy person, she made many friends while she worked there who treated her very well. She will be missed by her many family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by a son, Edwin A. Underwood; Alexus Underwood, her granddaughter and two great-grandsons, Travis Feltz Jr. (mother Hollie) and Gavin Sarbaum (father, William).

Lucy is survived by three daughters, Jackie Hooper (Spokane, Wash.), Becky Sarbaum (Libby) and Bonny (Tom) Nadrau, (Spokane, Wash.); and two sons James Underwood (Bigfork) and Brad (Tuckie) Platts (Missoula); 12 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Jim (Penny) Willams (Eureka) and Jack Williams of Libby and three sisters June Roose (Eureka), Marie Lamoose (Libby) and Nancy Zaske (Boise, Idaho).
