Donna Shriner

Donna Lee Shriner, 74, died on Friday, July 17, at her home in Libby. She was born on April 11, 1938, at Libby to Elmer and Alice Mae (Wilkinson) Davidson. She was raised in Libby.

She married Ben Shriner on July 8, 1953, and they celebrated their 62nd wedding anniversary.   She was a member of the Montana Athletic Club, Libby Christian Church, Red Hat Society and T.O.P.S.  She was crowned T.O.P.S. Queen of Montana at IRD in San Diego, Calif., for her weight loss.  Before her health failed, she walked Bloomsday in Spokane, Wash., with her baby boy Del.

Donna enjoyed sewing, card games, marbles, camping and fishing.  She loved spending time with the “Dirty Dozen,” her cousins. She also enjoyed spending time with family and friends.  

She was preceded in death by her father Elmer Davidson; her stepfather Chuck Challinor; mother Alice Challinor; a brother, Dick Davidson and a son, Michael Shriner.

Survivors include her husband Ben Shriner, Libby; three sons Ben Shriner (Susan), Joe Shriner (Sue) and Del Shriner; grandchildren Cody Lee Kelly Shriner, St. Louis, Mo., Makana, Cody Shriner, Libby, Crystal Lisle, Libby, Amber Shriner, Calif., Hannah Shriner, Libby, Selena Shriner, Libby, and three great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 11 a.m., Monday, August 17, 2015, at the Libby Christian Church.  Arrangements are by Schnackenberg & Nelson Funeral Home in Libby. Online condolences and memories may be shared at www.schnackenbergfh.com.
