Mercer Turkey

Well it didn’t take long this year, opening day, sat in the rain for about 20 minutes and this big tom committed suicide. I don’t know what I said on the old box call but he sure liked it and came runnin’ down the hill behind me. I was in some pretty thick timber and didn’t use the decoys. Happened so fast I barely had time to enjoy the hunt! I took the pictures a couple hours later when the rain stopped. Good turkey though, 21lbs. and a 10 inch beard. Can’t wait until fall to drop another one!
