Feb. 5

• A caller reported hitting a parked car on Montana Avenue. Nobody was injured.

• A 32-year old man was arrested upon request from Libby Justice Court on an outstanding warrant.

• A Libby woman called to see if her mastiff with a pink collar had been picked up. The woman called back later to say she had found her dog.

• A 35-year old woman was arrested at Highway 2 and Indian Head on a warrant for probation violation.

• A woman who was being harassed by the person she was buying a car from on Vicks Drive called to speak with an officer.

• A person on Rainbow Lane called to report a suspicious person walking back and forth in front of their home looking at items in the yard. Sheriff officers responded to the call to check things out.

• A caller on Farm to Market road reported a vehicle parked in their driveway with the driver passed out. The person woke the driver who then drove away.

Feb. 6

• A caller reported a case of fraud from North Lincoln County Law.

• A caller on Highway 37 reported a person trespassed on their property. When officers responded to the call the person was no longer there.

• A person from Minnesota Avenue reported having received fraudulent checks.

• A caller on Lost Treasure Road reported a bunch of possibly toxic garbage dumped on their property. He said he would haul it to the dump.

• Sheriff’s officers temporarily detained a man for throwing a Frisbee near the highway around mile marker 34 on Highway 2.

• A caller on Central Avenue reported their neighbors were having a loud party and tearing up and down the alley. When officers responded the area was quiet.

• A caller from a local trailer court reported shots being fired in the area. The noise was determined to be fireworks.

Feb. 7

• A 23-year old woman was arrested on Spokane Avenue on a warrant for drug charges.

• Officers responded to an area restaurant on an assault call.

• A caller on Highway 2 reported a wood splitter stolen from a lumber yard.

• Montana Highway Patrol responded to a call from Bobtail Hill about a person cutting wood and leaving debris in the road.
