Clara LaRoque, 94, of Missoula
Clara (Beaudry) LaRoque of Missoula passed away at home surrounded by family on Sept. 16, 2014. She was born April 18, 1920, to Daniel and Rose Beaudry in Chinook.
She married John (Bill) LaRoque in Glasgow on Nov. 23, 1936.
Clara and Bill enjoyed traveling and camping all over, from Canada to Mexico. She loved when family and friends dropped in for a visit. She would always cook a great meal for her company. She enjoyed gardening, sewing and quilting.
She is preceded in death by her grandsons Calvin, Tom and Linc; her parents Dan and Rose Beaudry; brothers Pete, Norman, Tony, Melvin and Neil; and sisters Lena and Irene.
She is survived by a brother Al Beaudry of Wenatchee, Wash.; a sister Veronica Irwin of Shoreline, Wash.; daughters Lena (Sissy) LaRoque, Carol (Jean) LaRoque of Missoula, and Joy and Lloyd Scott of Libby; sons John LaRoque of Missoula, Jack and Barb of Coeur d’Alene, Idaho; grandsons Toby, Charles, Ben, Tim, Tyler, Travis, Lynn, Shane and Joe; granddaughter Linda and numerous great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Viewing will be held at Schnackenberg & Nelson Funeral Home in Libby from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 19, 2014, with Rosary at 7 p.m. There will be a viewing from 10 a.m. until noon on Saturday, Sept. 20, 2014. Mass of the Resurrection will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 20, 2014, at Schnackenberg & Nelson Funeral Home, with graveside services to follow.
