Marjorie Cunningham, 86, of Hamilton, Ohio

Marjorie Cunningham, 86, of Fairfield passed away on Sept. 7, 2014. She was born in Hamilton, Ohio, on May 3, 1928, to Robert and Margaret (Krall) Lewis.  

On May 16, 1953, Marjorie married George Cunningham, Jr. at the North 7th Street Church of Christ in Hamilton.

She was the beloved wife of the late George Cunningham, Jr.; loving mother of Toni (Rod) Snyder of Libby, and George Cunningham III of Lawrenceburg, Ind.; devoted grandmother of Aaron David (Hilary) Snyder, and Anna Marie (Jared) Gray; great-grandmother of Ava, Ethan and Caelan.  

Marjorie is also survived by her brother-in-law Paul Cunningham, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Robert Lewis, sister Eileen Mieth, and her beloved cat Shadow.

Marjorie  was a graduate of Hamilton High class of 1947; a member for 60 years of the Washington Chapter 195 of the Eastern Star; employed by Hamilton Autographic; Fairfield Church of Christ as a secretary; and the Fairfield City Schools until her retirement.   

Visitation was held on Sunday, Sept. 14, 2014 at the Mason Christian Village, 411 Western Row Rd., Mason, Ohio.  

Funeral services were held at 12 p.m. Monday, Sept. 15, 2014, at Mason Christian Village, with Tom Moll and David Hargrave officiating.  

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to Christian Benevolent Association, 411 Western Row Rd., Mason, OH 45040.
