LIBBY HIGH SCHOOL EDUCATIONAL TRUST NEWS RELEASE August 31, 2013 The Libby High School Educational Trust has awarded two scholarships to Libby High School graduates. Adam Kirschenmann received $1000 from the Libby High School Educational Trust. Adam is the son of Hope and Scott Kirschenmann. He will be attending Montana State University in Bozeman, Montana and will be studying Mechanical Engineering. Jason Schnackenberg received $1000 from the Lovick Family Memorial Scholarship which is a part of the Libby High School Educational Trust. He is the son of Denise and Steven Schnackenberg. He will be attending Johnson University in Knoxville, TN. The Libby High School Educational Trust was established in 1988 to provide scholarships for worthy students that are graduates of Libby High School and who may be in need of financial assistance to obtain additional education . Applications are available at Libby High School. Donations to the Trust are always welcomed and encouraged. Currently the Trust has $190,000 in assets and has awarded over $50,000 in scholarships. Only the interest earned is used to provide scholarships so the Trust will continue to benefit future Libby High School students. Trustees of the Fund are Gerry Fennessy, Stan Evans, Nancy Chalgren, Jim Sullivan, Niles Nelson,Teri Noble, and Linda Buti.
