Danny James Freebury, 67, of Libby, went to be with his Father in Heaven on July 12, 2014.
He was born Aug. 7, 1947, in Kalispell to Julia and Allen James Robertson. Shortly after his father passed away, Danny was lovingly adopted by Vernon Freebury.
He served in the U.S. Army from 1965 until 1971.
Though later in his life his health problems hindered him physically, he enjoyed spending time teaching his kids about building projects and mechanics, fishing, giving his grandkids rides on his cart, taking “Christmas light” drives and riding around the yard helping where he could. He had a huge heart and supported his kids in everything. He will be missed immensely.
He was preceded in death by his parents Julia and Allen James Freebury, and brothers Doug Freebury and Mike James Robertson.
He is survived by his five children Danny James Freebury, Jr., of Port Charlotte, Fla., Jennifer Wickersham of Blountville, Tenn., Heather Freebury, Chris Freebury of Libby, Sami Freebury of Missoula; and his grandchildren Tanner, Jose, Maya and Mathias.
