The Western News should take stronger stance against closed city meetings

As our sole source of news in Libby, I would think you would be a little stronger in your stand about access to an illegally closed meeting on your the first page (October 21, 2014).
You quote attorneys saying it is an illegal meeting, however The Western News isn’t demanding our right to know. I assume your reporters just left as directed by someone.
As our sole source of news, I would think you would insist on being present on our behalf. If it is an illegal act, how is our community supposed to respond? Should the sheriff arrest them? Should The Western News sue on behalf of its customers? How do we react to this breaking of the law?
