Lauer showed fortitude, integrity during over-taxation debacle

I support Tammy Lauer for Clerk and Recorder.

She stood before us all and admitted her role in the tax debacle; she never tried to shift blame. I for one applaud that sort of fortitude and integrity.

Tammy has attended many hours of training to be a clerk and recorder; I would hate to think we would choose to start over. Clerk and recorder is a highly specialized job and is not something you learn from osmosis by working near one.

I have worked with Tammy at Libby Volunteer Ambulance for 13 years and she has been on the board of directors for at lest eight of those. She is trusted with that role because she is decisive, intelligent and thoughtful.
