Many veterans thankful for Libby's VA clinic

| October 24, 2014 11:12 AM

I do not want to hear any more bad-mouthing about the Libby VA Clinic.

I can’t say enough about the doctors, technicians and staff that have taken me under their care. They have handled my claims, meds and appointments with professionalism and kindness.

Without our VA field representative that visits Libby, I would not have known that these services were available for our veterans.

These folks also hooked me up with the VA hospital in Spokane, Wash., for testing, a place where I found the same kind of attention. I was treated with great respect at this facility, and as a result I was able to obtain hearing aids, and understand more about my injuries in Vietnam.

I also want to thank the DAV for providing transportation to the Spokane hospital. They make the trip very comfortable and much easier on my family.

I don’t understand what Mr. Ohland, and Mr. Troy are talking about. I know many veterans who receive services from these facilities, and they have had no complaints and are thankful, as am I, for the care and kindness that we have been given.
