Ethel Lisle, 91, of Libby

| October 24, 2014 10:58 AM

Our dear mother, Ethel Fay Lisle, 91, of Libby, passed from this life on Tuesday, Oct. 21, 2014, to join her loving husband, Emmett J. Lisle.

She leaves behind her 11 children and their families: Flossie Slater, Marie Ohlemacher, Tommie Schulte, Melodee Heiner, Jim Lisle, Gary Lisle, Chuck Lisle, Reggie Lisle, Terri Lisle Walton, Dan Lisle and Deanne Rowe.

Ethel was born Jan. 5, 1923, to Roy and Florence Black in Idaho Falls, Idaho.

No words can describe how much she will be missed. She was so devoted, loving, kind and patient. Her door was always open to all. Children, especially, touched her heart.

Our lives will forever have a piece missing without her here; however, a part of her will always be with everyone she came in contact with. She was always there to listen and advise, if asked, without judgment. She loved the spring and the fall, cool breezes, going for walks and red cars.

We will miss her beautiful smile, gentle touch, her wonderful Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners and her presence.

Final respects can be made at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 25 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Libby.

Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until 8 p.m. Friday, Oct. 24, at Schnackenberg & Nelson Funeral Home, 422 West Second Street, in Libby.

Donations in her name can be made to St Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
