County Port Authority

The Libby Chapter of the Society of American Foresters will hold an meeting to discuss the latest developments with the Port Authority.

Port Authority Director Tina Oliphant, Facilities Manager Brett McCully and Board Member Kevin Peck will be at the Libby Venture Inn at 7 p.m. Oct. 30.

The David Thompson Search and Rescue team is looking for certified, confident, experienced scuba divers to join Search and Rescue and the Dive Rescue Unit.

Christmas Program

Families in the Troy area who need help providing Christmas gifts to their children this holiday season are asked to call Fran Staton at 295-4542.

Please call by Oct. 30 and provide the following information: the child’s name, age, gender, one want, one need, proof of income and a list of assets such as property owned. There are 19 families already signed up.
