The issues are too important to ignore; go vote

| October 21, 2014 11:44 AM

As the elections draw closer, it’s time again to engage in the voting process and to speak our collective minds as a citizenry.

As many know, these are harrowing times, not only in the world, but enveloping our county as well. From the over reach of non-elected officials focusing on water usage, to not one, not two, but three separate issues of over-taxation at the county level.

The incompetence is incredible, and at every level, absolutely no accountability. Only excuses.

It is time to send a very loud message. But in order to do so, republicans, conservatives, libertarians, and independents need to put our primary differences aside.

The debates are over. Let’s get together and make a statement. It’s about the directions we want to take to assure that our children and grandchildren are allowed the freedom and scenic beauty that seems to be threatened daily.

The issues in this election are too important to stay home and ignore. One deals with the way you will vote in future elections. Another deals with a re-write of our state’s constitution. If you feel your vote doesn’t matter, or your candidate didn’t make it on the ballot, and you stay home, you have no vote. Period.

Please take the time to vote on Nov. 4. Encourage friends and family to also vote. there is a lot at stake.
