Libby residents
sought for survey
Adult residents of Libby are invited to participate in a five-minute, anonymous online environmental health opinion survey sponsored by researchers in Family Medicine and Community Health at University of Pennsylvania. The study aims to help researchers understand how people think about and understand the relationship between their health and the environment.
The study aims to educate the public about the long-term risks of environmental exposure from hazardous industrial sites and pollution. As part of this project, Penn Medicine is collaborating with the Chemical Heritage Foundation to develop a museum-based and virtual exhibit to explain the potential consequences associated with asbestos exposure.
