Carroll College senior Jackie Mee defeated MSU-Billings’ Haley Shackelford on a playoff hole to win the individual title at the MSUB Yellowjacket Fall Invitation at the Pryor Creek Golf Course in Huntley.

Mee shot a 78 in less-than-ideal conditions Friday, but he followed that round with a tournament-low 75 on Saturday to force the playoff. She won the playoff hole and led her team to a third-place finish at the invitational.

On the men’s side, Colin Gunstream shot a second–round 71 to move into a three-way tie for fourth place in the tournament, and Conner Hausauer shot a two-day 149 to finish seventh overall.

The two top-10 finishes helped the Saints finish third in the tournament behind Division II MSU-Billings and Rocky Mountain College.

The Saints return to action Monday and Tuesday at the University of Great Falls Invitational.
