• A caller on Louisiana Avenue reported a bear getting into the garbage.
• A caller reported that items had been stolen from several vehicles on Conifer Road.
• A caller reported two boys riding their bikes on a ramp and coming onto River Road.
• A man reported that someone else was using his identity on the computer.
• A hunter was reported missing on Stenerson Mountain. He was located after a brief search.
• A woman on Kootenai River Road reported a large ram hitting her neighbor’s door.
• A man came into the sheriff’s office to report a woman for trespassing on his posted property four hours after he had warned her to leave.
• A deputy was dispatched to unload a gun in a vehicle after a man was brought to a local hospital with a gunshot wound to his foot.
• A juvenile caller reported a suspected break-in on Remington Drive. Motion lights and Halloween decorations were activating.
• A woman on Dawson Street reported that her daughter’s vehicle had been vandalized. The tires had been slashed and the vehicle had been egged.

• A man at Pinetree Trailer Court reported shots being fired. Deputies responded and determined it was a prank involving firecrackers.

• A man reported receiving a bad check for an item he sold on Craigslist.
• A man on Sixth Street reported being harassed.
• A number of phone scams were reported, including callers claiming to be banks, FBI, and a police agency.
• A possible counterfeit bill was reported by a business on Mineral Avenue.
• A local business reported filming a shoplifter on video.
• An 18-year-old male was arrested for shoplifting from a local grocery store.

• A deputy was dispatched to Cabinet Peaks to take a report from a dog bite that occurred in the Yaak.
• A woman on Dakota Avenue reported her daughter trespassing in her house.

• An employee at a local grocery store reported a woman shoplifting a cart full of groceries.

• A woman on Park Street reported a pony running loose in the trailer park.
• A woman from Pinewood Road came to the sheriff’s office to request the removal of people from her property.
• A person came into the sheriff’s office to speak with an officer about being harassed.
• A woman on Three Corner Road called for assistance with her daughter who had indicated she was going to shoot up with meth.
• A man on Conifer Road reported being harassed on the Internet by a Libby resident.
• A woman reported being harassed by another woman following a Facebook post about a man with a gun being taken into custody on Halloween.
• A woman on Bennie Lane came into the sheriff’s office to talk about a neighbor’s stuff on her property, but was concerned that she would be accused of vandalism if she moved the items.
• A couple on Winter Road reported a disturbance involving their neighbor blocking the road and yelling at them.
