Jamie Blalack, 29, of Salt Lake City

Jamie Lee Blalack’s life ended prematurely in the early morning hours on Sunday, Nov. 2, 2014.  

He was born in Salt Lake City on Sept. 30, 1985, to Johnny Ray Blalack and Cheryl L. Clark. Jamie grew up and attended schools in Libby where he graduated in 2006 from Libby High School.  

Following high school he moved to Rapid City S.D., then back to Salt Lake City. He was currently employed with the 7-11 corporation as a sales clerk.  

Jamie loved to read, play video games and be around friends and family. He was always kind to everyone he met.

He is survived by his mother and father; siblings Debra (Dan) James of Mtn. Home, Idaho, Johnny (Misty) Blalack of Black Hawk S.D.; Raymond Blalack-Muhm of Whidbey Island, Oak Harbor Wash.; and Elizabeth Solon of Arizona. He is also survived by numerous family members; and best friend Joshua Smith of Salt Lake City.  

He was preceded in death by his grandfather James Ivan Clark.
