Polar Bear season continues in Libby

Polar Bear season continues every Sunday at 2 p.m. at the Farm to Market Bridge over Libby Creek. Anyone wishing to take a cold plunge with the Libby Montana Polar Bears is invited.

Register for Kootenai Rapids soccer team

Kootenai Rapids Select League soccer registration is now open to all Troy and Libby soccer players age 10 to 18. The teams are now forming for the 2015 spring soccer season and no other formal registrations will be held.

Registration forms are available in Libby at the Lincoln County Library, Libby Public Schools and the Montana Athletic Center; and in Troy at Kootenai Drug & Hardware and Troy Public Schools. For more information call Mark Petersen at 293-362.

Elks to donate $500 

to Veterans’ Memorial

The local Elks Club will donate $500 to the fund for the Veterans’ Memorial at Riverfront Park. The Elks’ annual Veteran’s Day Dinner will be held at 5:30 p.m. Nov. 11 at the Elks Lodge, 220 West 4th St. The dinner is free to all veterans and their families.
