Libby tennis makes up rain out
The Libby Loggers seem to have found a top boys doubles pair to stick with for the season. Senior Jason Schnackenburg and freshman Cody Wood teamed to defeat Columbia Fall’s Caleb Baumann and Gavin Thelen on Monday. The two schools met after Saturday’s Libby Invitational was rained out.
“We enjoy playing together,” Schnackenburg said, mentioning that Wood is also his cousin. “I think we will stick with it.”
The duo is now 2-1 on the season. Schnackenburg made the state tournament last season as a singles player. If the pair is to make the state tournament, Wood said he must work on serving consistency.
