Troy City Council lays McLeod payment to rest

An unusually expedient Troy City Council meeting finalized the matter of paying Police Chief Bob McLeod’s legal fees for his successful Public Safety Officer Standards and Training Council defense.

During February’s council meeting it was unanimously decided that the board would approve the $22,713 payment for McLeod’s defense. The previous council was hesitant to make the payment.

“It is nice to have that behind us,” Councilman Joe Arts, who did not attend the meeting, said.

Also on the agenda was the approval of a new business license for All Systems Go, a computer repair and web design business operated by Greg and Lori Goodman. The business will be located in the Troy Mini Mall, 315 E. Missoula Ave. No. 2.
