Alene Noble-Adkison, 70, of Hollis, Alaska

Alene (Sherry) Charlotte Noble-Adkison, 70, of Hollis, Alaska, passed away Feb. 28, 2014, in Hollis.

Sherry was born July 29, 1943, in Spokane, Wash., to Charles H. Noble and Alene Noble Sokoloski. She belonged to the Jehovah Witness church and had many friends there. Her priority was her family. She worked at the Hollis Ferry Terminal for many years as a ticket agent.

Sherry married Gary Adkison and had four sons, Oscar Adkison of Hollis, Floyd Adkison of Hollis, Eugene Adkison of Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, and Gary Adkison of Hollis; one daughter, Charlotte Adkison Watson of Hollis; sisters, Catherine (Neil) Noble Bauer of Libby, Debbie (Joe) Noble Saltier of Missoula; brothers, Mike Noble of Seattle and Kenny Noble, who preceded her in death. She also had many nieces and nephews.    

Private services were held in Libby and Craig, Alaska in loving memory of one of God’s angels.
