Deal complete: Barringer signed contract is received

The deal was signed, sealed and delivered.

Libby Schools Superin-tendent K.W. Maki on Friday confirmed the reception of the signed contract from Craig Barringer who became the 13th superintendent of Libby Schools.

The reception of the signed contract was a formality, having received unanimous approval from the board last week.

Barringer, the superintendent of the Conrad School District, will begin work on July 1. He replaces Maki, who has been the Libby Schools superintendent for 16 years. Maki, 68, is retiring.
