Vernon Thomen, Sr., 76, of Troy

Vernon Roy Thomen, Sr., 76, of Troy, died Dec.16, 2013, from injuries sustained in a vehicle accident on Highway 56 South of Troy.  

He was born March 19, 1937, in Whitefish to Calvin and Cathern (Laster) Thomen.

Survivors include his children, Ronda Thomen and Robin Winkler both of Great Falls; Vernon Thomen,  Jr., of Billings; sister, Barbara LaRoque of Olney; grandchildren, Robert Ming, Jaymi Patch, Aleshia Arensneyer, Timothy Kubes and Jenna Kubes; and numerous great-grandchildren.  

Private family services will be held.  

Arrangements are under the care of Schnackenberg & Nelson Funeral Home and Crematory in Libby.
