June 6
• A woman reported her seven your old child brought home a friend on the school bus. The friend’s mother did not let his mother know he was not coming home. The child did not know his address or phone number. The parents were contacted to pick up their child.
• A caller reported a possibly intoxicated driver leaving Logan State Park. The individuals in the vehicle vandalized a sign at a boat ramp earlier in the day.
• The manager of the Reese Court Trailer Park called to report a man driving around and spinning his tires in the park. The manager was advised by a neighbor that the man and his friends had been showing off their weapons after the manager called.
• A caller reported horses running down the highway near the bottom of Whiskey Hill.
• A caller requested a welfare check on children living in a bus that had been converted into an RV somewhere near Troy. The mother of the children fled the bus because she was afraid of her husband. The caller was planning to come to Libby to take custody of children.
• A man called to report that the man he had been letting stay in his house kicked him out of his own house. The man stabbed the homeowner’s mattress and punched him in the face before kicking him out.
• A person called 911 to report that her mother was highly intoxicated and dropping her pants near Park Street. Before police arrived, the woman took off in her vehicle.
• A juvenile was issued a MIP on Twin Creek Drive.
June 10
• A woman called to report that someone had taken property from her vehicle on Vanderwood Drive.
• A woman called to report that she was receiving threats from her boyfriend’s sister. The woman’s boyfriend is in jail in Kalispell. The woman was advised to contact the justice court to fill out a restraining order.
• A woman called to report that a man stopped by her house yesterday on a bicycle and stole her purse. The purse was later found by the woman and police called off their search.
• A man called to report that he hit a deer on Highway 2. The vehicle had no damage and the man had a broken leg from the accident.
June 11
• Someone called to report being bit by a skunk three hours prior to the call. Ambulance responded and person was admitted to Cabinet Peaks Medical Center.
• A man was arrested on Billadeau Road on a local county warrant after a person called to report a disturbance between a man and woman. The man advised that the woman had hit him. The man barricaded himself in his room and the woman took off in a vehicle. When police contacted the man he told them he did not want them to respond and he did not want to receive medical attention.
• A man called from Richmond, Virginia to request a welfare check on his uncle to check if he was alive. His uncle had passed away two years ago.
• A man was found dead in his home on Pioneer Road.
• A man called to report that the covers of side walk lights in front of Burger Express kept falling off. A state highway patrolman responded.
• A man reported kids kicking sticks and rocks into the road on Bowen Hill. Police talked to the kids and the situation diffused.
• A traffic accident between a senior bus and another vehicle occurred on 6th and California Street.
• A woman called to report harassing phone calls from New York asking her for money. Dispatch advised the woman to not respond to the calls.
• Someone called to report a motor home swerving into the oncoming traffic lane on Highway 37. The person thought the driver was either sick or intoxicated. Police were advised to watch for the vehicle.
• A man called to report that his wife lost her cell phone between Dakota and Shopko.
• A woman reported that an individual took her money and pawn slip out of her hands and would not give it back.
• A man was arrested on Riverside Road on a probation violation charge.
