June 8

• A woman called from the Libby VFW to report that another woman threw a drink on her. The woman did not wish to file a complaint.

• Someone called to report that a 92 year old man with Alzheimer’s was being combative. An ambulance responded due to possible stroke.

• A person at the Crosscut Casino called to report a man sitting at the bar. The man was not causing trouble but the person said they were advised to call police if the man came in.

• A caller reported a possibly intoxicated woman driving away from Town Pump and heading west.

• Someone reported a possible suicide based on someone’s Facebook posts.

• A woman on Kootenai Drive called to report an aggressive deer that chased her small dog.

• A man on Farm to Market called to report that he was being harassed on Facebook.

• A person called to report a deer that appeared to have welts on hip, side and chest near Park Street.

June 9

 • A man called to report that his 16 year old son had not returned home. Neighbors informed the man that his son had gone camping and the location was unknown. The 16 year old is on probation and his father did not want to fill out probation runaway paperwork. He was entered in the system as a juvenile missing person.

• A tree was reported to be laying across the road on West 3rd street. Tree was removed later that day.

• A woman reported a burglary at of a rental shed near hers and suspects packing up things to leave for North Dakota. She requested that officers check the suspects for stolen items.

• A person called to report her husband’s location at the school district. The husband was found smoking weed with another person.

• Theft from the community garden at Asa Wood Elementary was reported.

• A man was arrested on Minnesota Avenue after a man told store clerk to call police because a man outside was attempting to start a fight with him. The man was arrested on charges of disorderly conduct and obstructing bond.

• Someone called to request welfare check on his father because he could not get ahold of him.

• A man called to report that he would like to admit a found dog into the animal shelter but could not contact them.

• A person called to report a potential domestic violence incident on Louisiana Avenue. The person heard a man and woman yelling in a nearby home. No arrests made.

• A man reported that a renter of his was not leaving his property even though instructed so by a court ruling. The renter said he would like to speak with a deputy.

• A person called to report an aggressive deer that has been chasing neighborhood dogs and acting crazy. The person was concerned for the children in the area. Dispatch advised that there may be a fawn in the area and the deer should be left alone.

• Someone called to report that a woman jumped off a school bus and into her boyfriend’s car while stopped at Town Pump. The boyfriend took off towards Kalispell. Kalispell and Eureka dispatches were notified to watch for the couple.

• A caller reported a group of men partying at the Sandman Down Under. One man was racing his vehicle down Mineral Avenue and then parked at the hotel. Man agreed to sign complaint requested by officer.

 June 10

• A man called to report that his brother showed up at his father’s house drunk. The man wanted the drunken man removed. Officers responded and held the man for safety.

•  A Youth Court runaway was located and brought in by parents. The runaway was transported to Troy.

• After talking to officers in Eureka, a man came to Libby to talk to the sheriff about a man building on his property.

• A person reported a missing black and white male dog with a red collar near Parmenter Drive.
