May 21
• A woman reported strange marks around the locks on the front door to a Catholic church.
• A man was arrested on charges of disorderly conduct after someone called to report a disturbance at a grocery store in Libby. Grocery store employees had asked the man to leave, but he refused.
• An 18-year-old individual was arrested on a warrant on Three Corners Road. A 36-year-old individual was arrested for obstructing an arresting officer.
• A caller wanted to speak with a deputy about a possible marijuana-growing operation.
• A woman called to report harassing phone calls from an unknown man.
• A woman was arrested on a warrant at Three Corners Road.
• A caller reported a theft of three Papillion dogs by landlords.
• A caller wanted to speak to a deputy about two individuals who threatened him if he did not move off the property he was renting.
May 22
• A caller reported that a horse on 6th Street was attacked by neighborhood dogs. The horse had puncture wounds and was unable to walk, the caller said.
• A man called 911 several times and when he reached the Troy Dispatch, he requested he be put through to his daughter in Nevada. The man was belligerent and a visit to his residence determined he had been drinking. The man said he had been trying to dial 999.
• A woman reported that she and her friend were coming home from Bible study when the friend’s husband phoned and threatened the friend if she did not return immediately. Respondent reported the husband was on methamphetamine and was tearing up the residence.
May 23
• Several calls were made to 911 regarding a tree in the power line near Trainer Street. Callers reported sparks. Area was cleared and the scene was turned over to Flathead Electric.
• A caller reported that a checkbook was stolen out of a vehicle behind Eureka Hardware.
• A woman reported that a man had come to her house every night and had been banging on her door. She said the man told her he had previously broken into her residence. The woman told the respondent she believed the man had been hired by a financial institution to harass her because she had a lawsuit against the company.
• A caller reported loud arguing and what sounded like shots fired on Cecil Drive.
May 24
• A youth ranch in Eureka reported that a juvenile had run away that morning and was possibly headed towards the Canadian border.
• A man on Granite Lake Road reported his wife had an encounter with an aggressive bear and wanted to report the encounter in case other encounters were reported. A bear specialist had been contacted already, he said.
• A woman called to report that her son and daughter-in-law were fighting in the driveway.
• A woman called to report that someone had shot a rock at her vehicle with a slingshot on Montana Ave.
May 25
• A woman reported that her ex-husband was on her property and refused to leave. He had attempted to take their children, she said. A respondent reported that the man waited at the end of the driveway for law enforcement to arrive.
• A caller asked to speak to a deputy regarding property being vandalized at Lower Thompson Lake Campground.
• Caller reported that a train conductor had thrown a bottle of water at them near Hwy 37.
• Caller reported that a man was staring at her through a window in her living room at Bellevue Trailer Court.
May 26
• A vehicle rollover was reported on Hwy 2 and a woman was trapped inside. The victim was extracted. Injuries were not life-threatening.
• A caller reported a man beating a teenage boy and throwing him into a red Suburban. The vehicle headed towards Troy. The father and son were spoken to by police. The pair were camping in the area.
• A woman reported that her ex-husband had attempted to take her vehicle on Granite Ave. and then told the woman’s new boyfriend he would “put a bullet’’ in his head.
May 27
• A pastor from Louisiana reported being contacted by an individual from Libby, who was asking for money. Respondent ran a check on the individual’s name and there was no record of the individual. Police had been contacted regarding the scam.
• The mother of a 17-year-old girl reported that her daughter had been assaulted by another juvenile in Libby and had been taken to the emergency room.
• A woman admitted having several drinks before coming to the Trojan Lanes Bowling Alley in Troy and parking on one of the light posts.
May 29
• A caller reported seeing a drunk pedestrian weaving in and out of traffic on Hwy 2, possibly with medical leads attached to his body.
May 30
• Caller reported that her son had stolen her car.
• A woman reported that her golden retriever had been attacked in the front yard and badly injured. Dog had been attacked with a rock and some kind of pellet was lodged in the dog’s face.
• A woman reported being followed from Libby to Troy by her boyfriend’s soon-to-be ex-wife.
May 31
• A tan Pomeranian was reported to be running loose on 10th and California and had almost caused an accident.
