June 29
• A person called in on Highway 2 about her children not returning from being babysat by babysitter because she went to Logger Days. Later in the evening, contact was made and everyone was safe.
• A person called in about his hot dog sweeper being stolen on Main Ave.
• A woman called in about a group of motorcyclists stopped near her residence on Highway 2 South. The caller said the cyclists urinated on the neighbor’s yard and she said they needed to be talked to about doing so.
• A 911 call was made about a man having a possible heart attack. The man was having trouble with chest pains and difficult breathing and was transported to Cabinet Peaks.
• A woman called in about someone stealing her mannequin off her front porch on Louisiana Ave.
• A person called in to talk to a deputy about children being abused.
• A woman called in about both husband and her cars being broken into on Kootenai Drive. The caller said her husband’s prescription was taken from the truck and an iPod was stolen from the woman’s car.
• A person called in about an elderly female who had fallen and injured her leg on Snowy View Drive. The ambulance that transported the woman to Cabinet Peaks also hit a deer.
• A woman called in to describe her intoxicated son who was destroying her residence and was pushing her as well on Spencer Road.
June 30
• A crash occurred near the Baptist Church and officials transported a driver under the influence and took the DUI to the detention center.
• A person called in about renters the person had evicted over a month ago on Holly Drive. The caller went over to the property and the renters told the person to “get off their property.”
• A person called in to report that the neighboring house on Granite Creek Road had been broken into.
• A person called in about a trailer that had caught on fire on Kootenai Vista Road.
• A person called in about someone who was harassing her. The woman said the man in question was “not a friend” and left the area. The man then drove past her residence slowly.
• A person called in about guests staying at a cabin on Highway 37. The guests then cancelled the payment and stole towels and other items.
• A woman called in from Holly Drive about renters who were living in a rental property but whom she called squatters. The woman had originally allowed the guests to stay on her property. The woman became irate and violent.
• A woman called in on Michigan Avenue about being harassed by two other women whose children were harassing the caller’s children.
• A person called in of Highway 2 about a doe that had been hit by a vehicle with broken legs and a bone sticking out of the front shoulder. The doe had been in the area for two days but was still functioning.
• A person called in about a roommate on Bowker Street had hit a young girl in the head who was staying at the property. The authorities contacted child protection.
July 1
• An unattended death was reported on Lake Creek Road. The Troy ambulance was caring for a woman who needed oxygen but passed away.
• A person called in to report vandalism of mailboxes on Iron Creek Road.
• A caller whose son had keeled over with an allergic reaction to medications and had blood coming from his mouth requested ambulance help. The son later regained consciousness.
• A large black bear between a caller’s house and their neighbor’s on Cedar Creek Road would not leave.
• Craig Alan Barrows, a warrant subject was arrested on Dakota and E. 8th streets on put on $100,000 bail on two felony charges.
• A caller reported a semi driving on Highway 2 with shredded tires that the caller said the truck driver was unaware of.
• Someone called in about a person at the weigh station who seemed “off.” The caller said the man’s stories did not match up.
• A person called in about a domestic assault that had occurred one week ago. The person calling had his or her fingers broken by a nephew on Voves Ave.
• A person called in about a domestic altercation at Moody’s Dirty Laundry. A man involved was still at the scene during the call.
• A person called in about finding four bicycles behind his residence, and was concerned someone might have stolen them and stashed them there.
• Seam Michael Newbury was held under a warrant arrest and was put on bond for $1,120.
