June 22
• The community health center called to report that a woman called and stated that she was going to hurt herself.
• A person called to report that a man was sitting outside of the VFW and had been in a physical altercation. The man was taken to the medical center.
• A woman called to report that there was a bat in her house.
• A person hit a deer on Highway 2. The vehicle was in decent condition but officers had to respond to dispatch the injured deer.
• A caller reported an individual on a four-wheeler was going up and down a hill that has a no motor vehicle sign.
• Cabinet Peaks Medical Center called to advise that they admitted a man with a significant dog bite. The man was bit while breaking up a fight between his dog and another dog behind the cemetery.
• The owner of the Red Dog called to advise officers that someone had attempted to chisel the lock to the back door.
June 23
• A vehicle axle dropped down on a man’s pelvis and legs when he was checking the vehicle. After removing the axle, he was conscious and was taken to Cabinet Peaks Medical Center.
• A person called to report that his son’s Apple iPad 2 was stolen from their property on Commerce Way.
• A person called in about a threatening email from a male in Troy. The email was directed to the caller.
• A person called to report that her daughter, driving a 1999 Nissan Maxima, was rear-ended by a newer white or silver SUV. The driver did not stop and was on Highway 2 toward Troy. The daughter was not injured.
• Someone at the community garden at Asa Wood Elementary School called in to report vandalism at the garden.
• A person called in to report fraudulent emails from a person claiming they are in Portugal with a sick cousin and need to borrow money. The caller called his relative in Arkansas and realized it was a hoax.
• A woman who initially told the caller that she was having a seizure turned out to be a shoplifter. The call occurred at Rosauers and the female shoplifter was arrested.
• A person called in about his 87-year-old father who woke up having difficult breathing. The father complained of heat.
June 24
• A caller from Troy described the unattended death of a man who had not been well on Old Callahan Creek Road.
• Someone called in about four boys who walked by her residence on Farm to Market Road with a dog. The dog of the owner was barking at the boys’ dog and the boys threatened to kill it.
• Someone called in about a reckless driver on Highway 2 and California Avenue. The driver was given a citation for reckless driving.
• A person called in to report the purchase of materials for drug manufacturing on W. Ninth Street.
• Someone called in about her neighbor’s goat that was eating her flowers on Bull Lake Road.
June 25
• A person called in at Pioneer Park to describe a man in an ID-plated old cop car sitting in the park where she dropped a child off.
• A woman who is 35 weeks pregnant and in a great deal of pain called in for ambulance assistance and was taken to Cabinet Peaks.
• A person called in to report a man driving a white SUV into Fireman’s Park with a cardboard box. The driver took the box to a picnic table, set it down, and left the scene.
• In Rosauers’ parking lot, a woman fell and was bleeding badly from her head. The woman was taken to Cabinet Peaks.
• A person called in about a Ford Pickup that backed into a mailbox on Vicks Lane, which knocked it over, and took off.
