June 12
• A woman called 911 to report that a barking dog was waking up her baby.
• A man was arrested on assault charges. Bail was set at $250,000.
• A person called to report her neighbors were speeding and telling her grandchildren to “get out of the road or get hit.” Dispatch told the caller to file a citizen’s complaint form.
• A caller advised dispatch that two juveniles were behind the funeral home throwing rocks at street lights. The suspects were gone when the police arrived.
• A man called to report a theft from his shed on Falls Creek while he was at work.
• A man went to the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office to report that his wife kicked him out of their residence and he needed to get boots and clothes for work.
• A caller reported a suspicious person wearing dark clothing and walking down the middle of Highway 2 near Antler Tree Nursery.
• A man called to request an ambulance for his unresponsive wife. The woman was intoxicated and ingested several pills. The woman was taken to the medical center for treatment.
• Someone reported an unintended bush fire near Tamarack Lane.
June 13
• A man on Wolf Creek called to talk to a deputy regarding his son. He told dispatch it was about alcohol and other things.
• A 32 year old man was arrested outside the Lincoln County Library on attempted theft charges.
• A 42 woman was arrested on 10th and Mineral for a warrant on distribution of dangerous drugs.
• A person called to report possible child abuse. A family was kicked out of their troy residence the previous day and stayed at Dorr Skeels campground. The person calling believed the children were being abused and suggested that police check on them.
• A man called to report gunshots in his neighborhood on Center Drive. The man witnessed two women running in the direction of the gunshots and a man leaving in his vehicle. Contact was made with the man once he returned and he explained that he had been banging a crescent wrench against a metal wheelbarrow. Police responded to find he banging on metal had been mistaken for gunshots.
• A 23 year old woman turned herself in at the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office. She was arrested on theft charges.
• A person called to report a man attempting to jump off a bridge on Highway 37. Nearly a minute later, the man jumped and was swimming towards the shore of the Memorial park. Police responded to find the subject was doing the cold water challenge.
• A caller reported a continual problem of a barking dog on Rustic Avenue.
June 14
• A 21 year old man was arrested on 5th Street Extension.
• A woman reported that her ex-husband would not let her see her children and the couple does not have a parenting plan.
• A traffic accident was reported on the Yaak Highway. A man swerved to miss a deer and drove into the ditch. The vehicle was still operable and police questioned the man when he arrived at Cabinet Peaks Medical Center.
• Someone reported starving animals left behind at a residence on Independence. Police forwarded the call to animal control.
• A caller reported a stolen shotgun on Utah Avenue. The caller did not know the serial number and told dispatch he would call back when he found it.
• Someone reported an employee at the Red Dog was stealing money from the register.
• Rosauers reported catching an Australian shepherd that was running loose on the highway in front of the store. The animal was transferred to the animal shelter.
• A 19 year old man was arrested at the Troy trailer park for possession of dangerous drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia.
• Someone called to report a traffic accident on Highway 37. Three men from Canada were riding bicycles and one of them struck a deer. EMTs responded and there were no serious injuries.
June 15
• A caller reported a man pushing his wife around at the VFW and knocking over bar stools.
• A woman was reported choking at the Antlers Restaurant. The woman’s family performed the hymlic and there was a nurse on the scene. The ambulance responded and transferred the woman to the medical center.
• A theft was reported of a green cattle gate on Chase Cutoff.
• Cabinet Peaks Medical Center called to request a welfare check on a man’s wife. The man was a patient being undergoing a mental health evaluation. He had made comments about needing to get out of the residence he was in before he strangled his wife.
June 16
• A report was made of an individual sleeping in a sleeping bag on the sidewalk on Highway 2. The individual had been hitchhiking and then posted up on the side of the road for the night.
June 17
• A man went to the sheriff’s office to report a fight with his wife. The man needed a place to stay for the night. An officer spoke with the wife, who explained that the man had not been kicked out, he just left.
• A man called after arriving at the Amtrak station because his ride was not there to pick him up and his oxygen tank was running low.
• A person stopped at Canoe Gulch to report a suspicious man hanging around Highway 2.
• A woman called to report damage to her vehicle that had been done with a screwdriver.
• A person called 911 to report a four-wheel drive truck had slid off the road and hit a tree near Happy’s Inn. The three people in the vehicle had head and rib injuries and after police arrived on the scene, snow started to fall.
• A man reported that he suspected his wife took their child to North Dakota.
• An arrest was made after a woman on Timber Lane called police to report that her 13 year old son attacked her 15 year old daughter. Shortly after she made the call, the woman explained that she was at the neighbor’s house and no longer needed an officer to respond.
June 18
•A caller reported a fire at Asa Wood elementary school, but when police arrived they discovered it was just a diesel engine that had bad fuel.
•Troy dispatch transferred a 911 call to the Lincoln County Sherriff’s office. The woman called about receiving constant fraud phone calls. The fraudulent caller asked the woman if she sent him a cashier’s check and when the woman said no, the caller threatened her wellbeing.
•Troy dispatch received a call about a man sleeping on the steps of the Catholic church. Police responded and the man explained that he was trying to find shelter from the rain. Police advised the man to move as soon as possible.
•Police responded to a burglar alarm on Highway 2 and Montanore.
•A caller reported a dead deer in the roadway on Highway 37 because he was afraid someone would hit it after dark.
•Troy dispatch was advised of an individual heading to Cabinet Peaks Medical Center with a nine year old that was presumed to have his tongue bit off by a dog. When they arrived to the medical center, doctors found the child’s tongue in tact; however, the child’s lip had been torn open.
June 19
•A 55 year old woman was arrested on an aggravated DUI charge and 38 year old woman was arrested on DUI and Drug charges.
•A caller reported that a driver passed him on Kootenai River Road going at least 80 miles per hour.
•A person on Cox Lane called to report a scam phone call that claimed the person had won $5.5 million and a new car.
•A man brought in a detention check that he found lying on the road.
•A person called 911 to report two horses running across the highway just south of Mike and Gabe’s restaurant.
•A caller reported a two vehicle accident outside of the post office.
•A person reported the theft of a Bama Lane sign.
•The Idaho police called to advise that a bearded man driving a vehicle at speeds in excess of 85 miles per hour had crossed the border into Montana.
June 20
•A caller reported that a 41 year old man was choking and could not breathe. Ambulance responded to the call and transported the man to the medical center.
•A person called to report that people were breaking into cars and stealing items at the Sandman Motel.
•A logging truck hit and killed two elk on Banana Lake Road Cutoff.
•A man reported that a deer had jumped into his yard and was attempting to kill his dog.
•A person went to the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office to report that his daughter, who lives on Dakota, was letting people stay at her house. The people who were staying at her home showed up with rifles and threatened them.
•A couple went to the sheriff’s office to fill out paper work for the removal a junky and moldy trailer park in their neighborhood.
•A person called 911 to report that a driver side-swept him and was refusing to pull over to speak to him. The driver ran a red light while attempting to get away from the scene.
•A 46 year old man was arrested on Missoula Avenue in Troy on warrant charges.
•A caller reported a man sitting in his vehicle near Bear Creek road. The man had a shotgun across his lap and had been sitting on the dead end road for a period of time. Police responded and spoke to the man.
June 21
•A person called from Fireman’s Park to report a loud party across the street.
•An officer hit a deer on Highway 2 while he was on his way to a disturbance call.
•A caller reported a loud party on Bull Lake Road. When the caller asked them to quiet down, they started to swear at him.
•A person called to report a fight at Fireman’s Park near the water play area. When police responded, they found that it was just two friends wrestling around.
•Police responded to an animal complaint in Troy. They found a female dog had been tied to the bleachers at the high school football field for a couple of days. The dog was sent to Kootenai Pets for Life.
•A person called to report that someone had hit a parked vehicle near Parmenter Avenue.
•A caller reported that a goat fell into a spring well and could not get out. The fire department responded and saved the goat.
•A person reported being chased to Harold’s casino by a bull mastiff that had gotten off its chain.
•A caller reported that a man had not returned home after walking from pioneer to Rosauers. His family searched for him and found him on a bench at Fireman’s park with no recollection of what had happened to him.
•A 58 year old man was arrested at the bottom of Whiskey Hill on a DUI charge.

June 22
•The community health center called to report that a woman called and stated that she was going to hurt herself.
•A person called to report that a man was sitting outside of the VFW and had been in a physical altercation. The man was taken to the medical center.
• A woman called to report that there was a bat in her house.
•A person hit a deer on Highway 2. The vehicle was okay but officers had to respond to dispatch the injured deer.
•A caller reported an individual on a four-wheeler was going up and down a hill that has a no motor vehicle sign.
•An employee at Atkins’s quick stop called to report that someone lost a chainsaw out of their vehicle. A man called and picked up the saw after realizing he had lost it.
•Cabinet Peaks Medical Center called to advise that they admitted a man with a significant dog bit. The man was bit while breaking up a fight between his dog and another dog behind the cemetery.
•A man reported that his dog jumped out of the back of his truck somewhere between Swede Mountain and Town Pump. The dog was a black German shepherd with a red collar.
•A 26 year old man was arrested on warrant charged for felony probation violation for delivery of controlled substances.
•The owner of the Red Dog called to advise officers that someone had attempted to chisel the lock to the back door.
