Daniel Lee Pattie, 75, of Troy

Daniel Lee Pattie, 75, died on Tuesday, June 24, 2014, at his home in Troy. 

He was born on Dec. 25, 1938, at Williston, N.D., to Donald L. and Hazel (Daily) Pattie. He moved to Troy with his family at age 3. He grew up and attended Troy schools.  

He met Bertha in Spokane, Wash., and they were married in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, Aug. 31, 1966.  They moved to Troy. Daniel worked as a logger all of his life; it was in his blood. He enjoyed fishing and camping.  

Survivors include his wife of 47 years, Bertha Pattie of Troy; daughters Debbie Hahn of Troy, Kathleen (William) Pillans of Missoula; son Donald Pattie of Troy; sister Donna Asbridge of Troy; brother William Pattie of Troy; 11 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 3:30 p.m. Monday, June 30, 2014, at the Troy Church of God. Arrangements are by Schnackenberg & Nelson Funeral Home & Crematory in Libby. Memories and condolences may be shared at www.schnackenbergfh.com.
