Myrna McKay, 72, formerly of Libby
Myrna Blutt McKay died suddenly at their motor home at Senator Wash in California from pancreatic cancer.
She was born the second child to Joe and Helen Blutt in Ekalaka on Nov. 11, 1941. Myrna attended school in Ekalaka and graduated from high school in 1959.
Myrna and her husband, Mike, have been spending the last several winters dry camping and jeeping in the Yuma, Ariz., area. They also spent a few summers in Alaska fishing before retiring.
Myrna worked in the lumber mill in Libby and was a rural mail carrier in Powell, Wyo.
She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Kenneth and Larry.
She is survived by her husband, Mike; his children, Lori and Bruce Sickler and Craig and Andrea McKay; her son, Terry and Pam Martens, all of Libby. Also surviving are grandchildren, Madisen and Isaiah Sickler, Paul and Heather Martins, Traci Martins; sister, Josie and Darrell Dahlberg; brother, Dennis; and several nieces and nephews and step-grandchildren.
Cremation has taken place and a memorial is planned in Ekalaka at a later date.
