James B. “Jim” Hill, Jr., 82, passed away at his home surrounded by his loving family in Libby on Jan. 3, 2014.
He was born May 31, 1931, at Kalispell to James B., Sr. and Ruth A. Hill.
Everyone who knew Jim knew his passion in life, besides his wife and family, was cutting firewood. He will be missed by all who knew him.
He is preceded in death by his parents, his brothers, Edward Hill and George Hill; and his daughter, Roberta McKenzie.
Survivors include his wife, Wanda Hill of Libby; his children, Nita Hill and husband, Daniel Yates; Diane (Carey) Dill, Rebecca Hill, Robin (Pete) Longpré; Jamie (Larry) Murray, and Daniel (Shannon) Hill; a sister, Doris Selke.
His legacy includes 16 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren and two great- great-grandchildren.
At his request, there will not be any service, and we ask that you celebrate his life in your own way.
