Libby man, 21,
arrested in Butte
A 21-year-old Libby man is accused of hitting on women at a Butte bar, Spuds McGees, and then pushing the women to the ground after they denied his advances.
Logan James O’Neil faces a charge of disorderly conduct and three charges of misdemeanor assault – one for each woman he allegedly pushed at about 2 a.m. Saturday.
Witnesses told police O’Neil repeatedly said he “wanted to teach people to be Libby tough,” Undersheriff George Skuletich said.
O’Neil was released from jail after posting $1,850 bond.
Lemonade on Lawn
fate still undecided
For the past 19 years, the Lincoln County Library in Libby and the Libby Friends of the Library have sponsored Lemonade on the Lawn.
Each summer for four to eight weeks at noon on Wednesdays, a program or entertainment was provided on the library lawn. The public was invited to come and listen or take part, bring a sack lunch or buy lunch from a non-profit organization on site and enjoy a glass of free lemonade.
Attendance over the past few years has dropped significantly, causing the Friends of the Library to wonder if the community still wants this event to continue. Please help decide the future of Lemonade on the Lawn by taking a short online survey at https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/BSGPWVX by March 25.
