Avid Gardeners
schedule meeting
The Avid Gardeners will meet at 2 p.m. Feb. 13, at the home of Deanna Kehn, 196, Scenery Road, near the golf course.
Club members are asked to bring their seed catalogs and be prepared ready to discuss their good and bad choices.
The research assignment is finding a solution for why a compost pile seems slow in decomposing.

MSU sets record
for enrollment
BOZEMAN — Montana State University has set a record for spring enrollment.
School officials say 14,102 students enrolled for the spring 2014 semester.
The Bozeman Daily Chronicle reports that’s a 2.9 percent increase over last spring.
Compared to last fall semester, however, enrollment slipped 7.8 percent.
Officials say enrollment typically decreases from the fall to spring semester. More than 900 students graduated in December.
Bus slides off road,
one child injured
GREAT FALLS — A school bus carrying three students slid off a snowy road west of Great Falls, causing one to suffer minor injuries.
The Montana Highway Patrol says the bus slid while going around a curve at about 7:15 a.m. Monday.
The Great Falls Tribune reports an ambulance took one student to the hospital with apparently minor injuries. Another bus picked up the other two students.
