Jan. 31
• William E. Kilgore was found guilty of driving a motor vehicle while privilege to do so was suspended or revoked, operating without liability insurance and operating with expired registration. He was fined $105 and sentenced to 370 days of suspended jail time.
Feb. 4
• Courtney Diane Craig was fined $285 for failure to carry proof or exhibit insurance in a vehicle.
• James J. Brewer was fined $235 for driving without a valid driver’s license.

Jan. 26
• A caller on East 6th Street reported a small black, brown and white-haired male dog missing.
• A grandmother on Matilas Drive reported her grandson spit on her and called her “filthy names.” The grandmother asked her grandson to leave her house and he did after striking her in the chest.
Jan. 27
• A caller at Glacier Bank reported credit-card fraud.
• A woman on Evans Road wanted her soda pop cans checked for drugs since the hospital said there were drugs in her system she does not intentionally consume.
Jan. 28
• A caller on Lake Creek Road reported a couple of people driving around his property. The man believed the drivers were plotting to steal his medical marijuana.
• A caller near Dome Mountain Avenue and Indian Head Road reported two black dogs eating a deer carcass in a yard.
• A caller on Farm to Market Road reported a deer stuck in a fence.
• A caller on Highway 2 near mile-marker No. 2 reported three dogs — a white Newfoundland, black and white Newfoundland and a light brown pitbull mix. The caller believed the trio of dogs may have been deserted.
• A caller on Three Corners Road reported potential drug activity in a trailer court.
• A minor was caught shoplifting at Empire Foods.

• A caller on Avenue B reported he borrowed a friend’s vehicle and left some tools inside. His friend reclaimed the vehicle the day prior with the tools inside. When the caller went to his friend’s house to get the tools his friend said the tools were out of the vehicle. The caller threatened to call the police, and the friend threatened to kill the caller.
• A caller reported a dead deer in the travel lane near the state shop on Highway 2.
• Vernon Cecil Brue was arrested and charged with partner or family member assault.

• A caller reported a black vehicle in the ditch on Highway 2 near Cedar Creek.
• Nicolas Littlefawn Eaglehawk was arrested and charged with shoplifting at Rosauers.
• A pair of dead deer were reported in the yard of a house for sale near Dome Mountain Avenue and Indian Head Road.
• A man on Big Timber Lane reported dropping a bottle of morphine pills while shoveling snow.
• A caller on Bull Lake Road reported someone broke the window in his trailer and stole several items.
• A father on Park Street reported his 12-year-old son had just been assaulted.
Jan. 31
• A caller on Commerce Way reported receiving threatening calls from two different phone numbers.
• A man reported a phone scammer with a thick accent just told him he had a computer virus.
• A man on Park Street reported his landlord gave him 30 days to move to his new address. The man was in the process of cleaning the walls and carpets when he learned the landlord brought in a cleaning crew. The crew had torn out bathroom fixtures. The man felt the crew should not be involved until 30 days.
• A caller on Kootenai Vista Court reported his neighbor’s barking dogs are an unyielding problem.
Feb. 1
• A man who owns a motorhome on East Fifth Street Extension reported he was out of town but heard his residence had been broken into twice while he was away.
• A man on Old Highway 2 reported a mountain lion killed two of his pets recently.
Feb. 2
• A caller on Louisiana Avenue reported a large yellow lab was visiting their house. The dog had a collar, but the man did not know who the dog belonged to.
