Jacqueline “Jackie” Marie Kovar, 59, went home to meet our Heavenly Father on Nov. 19, 2014, at The Health Center in Kalispell. She died from health complications.

She was born on May 22, 1955, in Cambridge, Mass., to Chickie Marcott and Johnny Nielsson. As Jackie was growing up in a military home, she was able to see different parts of the world. She loved to travel. She was a seamstress by nature and worked in the field when she was able to. Every year she would donate handmade hats and gloves for the children, or pot holders to the fireman’s auction in Troy.

She is survived by her daughter Olimpia Edwards; son Lawrence “Gino” Kovar of Kalispell; mother Chickie Marcott of Otis Orchards, Wash; sisters Suzanne (Jack) Baratta of Lansvale, Penn., and Liza Marcott of Otis Orchards; brothers Barney (Jenny) Hammons of Libby, Tony (Eda Mae) Davis of Post Falls, Idaho, Harry Levasseur of Spokane, Wash., George of Beverly, Mass.; grandchildren JJ Hoover and family of Oak Harbor, Wash., Josh Hoover of Colorodo Springs, Colo., and Jazmine Bienek and family of Minot, N.D.; the Hake family of Troy; and many other friends and family.

Services will be held at a later date. Please send donations to Buffalo Hills Funeral home in Kalispell.
