July 12
• A warrant arrest was made for Hunter James Monroe with a $120 bond.
• A person on Highway 2 reported a theft of his mother’s medications.
• A person called in at Libby Auto about eight large dogs that were out without supervision. The owner of the dogs owns the car wash but the caller did not know her name.
July 13
• A person called in about a fight at the beer garden at J. Neils Park.
• A man at Treasure Manor called in to complain about feeling dizzy and needing to pass out. The man was transported to Cabinet Peaks.
• A person called in from Highway 2 about how her daughter’s boyfriend ditched her, took her phone, and how she needed a ride. An exchange about where the phone was occurred and the authorities connected the mother and the sister.
• An officer brought in a credit card found at J. Neils Park.
• A Town Pump employee called in about a woman locked in the bathroom who was refusing to come out. There was a man standing outside the bathroom. The attendant told the man to leave and the woman was taken home.
• The camp host at Bad Medicine Campground called in about a vehicle whose driver took out the stop sign and stole a lock off of the gate.
• A person called about her purse being stolen from the Mint Bar the night before.
• A person called from W. Second Street about her husband who was acting disoriented and who is a diabetic.
• A person on Highway 2 at mile marker 16 reported a vehicle driving erratically that also crashed.
• A person calling from Happy’s Inn said they were driving behind a black pickup from Kalispell that had crossed the yellow line at least 60 times.
• A person on West Second Street reported her 14-year-old daughter who took a handful of Motrin and started acting strangely.
• A man called in on Nevada Avenue to complain of a car that drove by his residence, parked and pointed his finger out of the window like a gun.
• A warrant arrest was made for Luke Lake Williams.
• A man came in to report a couple of men driving a white full-sized pickup at J. Neils Park who were jumping around on the bull figure.
July 14
• At the Town Pump, a driver left without paying for gas. The driver’s mother called back and her son returned to pay for the gas. He said he was in a hurry and forgot to go inside.
• A woman on Horseshoe Lake called to speak with a deputy about an incident that happened with her grandson over the weekend.
• A woman on Lake Creek Road called in about her sister taking items from her house when the woman was in jail.
• A person called in about a car that had been left at the Iron Creek water tower for a week.
July 15
• A woman called about smoke overwhelming the area around her house on Terrace View Road.
• A person called in from Highway 2 about a man who had shut his hand in a door and then passed out. The man later came to consciousness.
• A person from West Oak Street called in about the welfare of a dog. The person said the dog had no food, no water and was isolated in a kennel.
• A person called in about a 14-year-old girl who was dating a 19-year-old boy, and the caller said the girl could be pregnant.
• A man on Aspen Road called in about someone breaking into his vehicle the night before who stole seven or eight dollars in change.
• A person called in about a traffic accident on Highway 2 at mile marker 69.
• A call came in from Alpine Road about a neighbor who had come over the day before and confided that she was going through a divorce. The caller noticed she was carrying a weapon and said the woman had a history of self-harm and wanted to alert authorities.
• A person called in on Highway 2 to alert authorities about three dogs that were walking in front of Empire Foods. The dogs kept walking out in front of moving vehicles.
• A person from Highway 2 called about a rear window burglary alarm
July 16
• A call from Pinewood Lane came in about a neighbor’s disturbance. The disturbance was between a wife and a husband.
• A woman called in from Pioneer Road about receiving threatening calls from her ex-husband who was trying to buy a car with her credit in Renton, Wash.
• A man called in from Bull Lake Road about being threatened by a neighbor who held a rock up against him and said “the boys from Noxon” were coming to kill him.
• A person called in from Cabinet Heights Road about a white Bronco speeding through the construction area. The caller asked the driver to slow down, but the driver just revved the engine and drove away.
• A woman called in from Bull Lake Road about her brown female beagle that had jumped out of her vehicle.
• A woman called in from Highway 2 about backing into a fence with her car and not knowing who it belonged to. The woman had insurance and said she would pay for it.
• A person called from the top of Shaughnessy Hill about a man and woman who were fighting and the caller was concerned about them.
• A woman from the Yaak area called in about losing her driver’s license, another identification card and her son’s social security card. The woman was flying back to Arizona that Monday and was told to file a case with law enforcement.
• A person called near the Venture Inn about a motorcycle that was weaving all over the road.
• A person called in about suspicious activity at the Legion ball field’s storage units.
• A caller reported his or her 51-year-old niece who had come to live with the caller’s family but was acting strangely and cutting her clothing because she said she was hot. The caller said the niece needed to be psychologically evaluated.
July 17
• A deputy from Toole County requested a check on a stolen semi-truck. The truck was a green freightliner that said “Paradise Amusements” on the door.
• A BNSF associate called and said there was a man and woman trespassing on BNSF property. The two were sitting in chairs fishing but were close enough to the tracks that a train conductor could see them.
• Darwyne Lee Cady was arrested for probation violation.
• A man called from Parmenter Drive about someone stealing the battery out of his pop-up camper.
• An anonymous man called in about cars that were still driving on the closed-off portion of Cabinet Heights Road.
• A woman on McKays Street called about a niece staying with her whose mental condition was concerning.
• A woman called from Highway 37 about a blue heron with a broken wing that was in her backyard.
• A woman brought in a wallet she found in an alley in Libby.
• A man on E. Lincoln Boulevard said that new neighbors were not taking care of a cat that was left behind by neighbors who had moved. The cat went to the caller’s yard and beat up the caller’s dog.
• A woman called from Highway 2 about several large dogs that were on the loose and tearing up her flower beds. She called to advise animal control.
• A person called in from Talsma Road about four Borzoi dogs running loose.
