Problem remains at Troy railroad crossing

Letter to the Editor:
The Troy railroad crossing at Third Street is in deplorable condition. The “main line” has a nice concrete slab. The rest of the crossing is old broken up planks and part of them are totally gone.
This is becoming a real issue. It is very hard on vehicles.
What does it take to get necessary repairs done?
It is not like I just moved here to complain—I have been a Lincoln County resident for 59 years.
The railroad has been working in and around Troy all year, and has done nothing to the crossing.
