Geoffrey Ryan Brinton, 65, of Kalispell

Geoffrey Ryan Brinton, “Jeff”, 65, passed away peacefully at his home on Tuesday, April 22, 2014 in Kalispell. He was born Oct. 6, 1948 at Libby to Richard and Kathryn Neils Brinton. At age 14, the family moved to Eureka and resided at the 69 Ranch.  

Jeff loved the ranch and his claim to fame was his avid passion for duck hunting. He also did ranch duties and carpentry. He married Jan Joyce Nov. 15, 1975 at Kalispell. His many hobbies included wood carving, making model airplanes, and telling jokes and stories. He was a Christian and loved the Lord and His word.  He made many Bible studies and shared them with his friends.  

He was preceded in death by his father Richard Brinton and a brother Paul Taylor (Jake) Brinton.

Survivors include his three children Leslie Littlefield and husband Aric, Missoula; Michael Brinton and wife Ann, North Carolina; Rebecca Brinton, Kalispell; his mother Kathryn Brinton, Kalispell; sisters Barbara Price, Kalispell; Marti Bushfield and husband Mike, Eureka; Jeanne Montoya and husband Rich, Federal Way, Wash.; a brother Robert Brinton and wife Penny, Kalispell; seven grandchildren and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Services will be at 2 p.m., Saturday, May 10, 2014 at the Chapel of Praise, south of Eureka on Highway 93. Arrangements are by Schnackenberg & Nelson Funeral Home in Eureka.
