Estie “Marie” Williams, 89, of Troy died on Friday, April 18, 2014 at Libby Care Center. She was born June 2, 1924 in Andrew, N.C., to Marion and Nellie Anthony.
She was living in Leadville, Colo., and married Ernest Williams in Eagle, Colo., on Aug. 15, 1946. They moved to Troy in 1956.
She loved sewing, fishing and reading. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest, in 2005 and two brothers Leonard and Ray.
Survivors include her children Elsie Yates, Nucla, Colo.; Judy and Jack Johnson, Fayetteville, Ark.; Francis Kunz, Montpelier, Idaho; Sandra and Gary Downey, Libby; Bill and Becky Williams, Troy; Darlene and Ken McNaughton, Juneau, Alaska; Candace Williams, Libby; Daniel and Lola Williams, Troy; James and Valerie Williams, Juneau, Alaska; and one brother Glen Anthony and wife Ann, Osburn, Idaho.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, April 25 at Milnor Lake Cemetery in Troy. Arrangements are by Schnackenberg & Nelson Funeral Home in Libby.
