Club raises funds for TV broadcast

| April 22, 2014 10:06 AM

The Libby Video Club is looking for donations to assist with upkeep on its transmission station so it can continue to provide broadcast of several TV stations.

The club holds an annual fundraiser to help pay for operation costs including power, licensing fees, site permits and maintenance.

Club President Jim Nelson said the club needs to raise about $6,000 annually to cover expenses. The club suggests a donation of $60 for the year.

“We know it’s not easy for people to donate, but it’s pretty affordable for TV,” he said. “That’s even more reason to donate so we can keep transmitting.”

The club provides broadcast of several stations from Missoula, Kalispell and Spokane. The contributions help secure funding to add additional channels in the future.

Donations can be sent to Libby Video Club, P.O. Box 977, Libby, MT 59923.
