The Lady Trojan tennis squad picked up an early-season victory Tuesday against Eureka, which does not have a boys team.

Troy, which hosted the event, won both doubles matches. Seniors Katie and Kellie Lundin made quick work of their opponents, and Kasey Faur and Molly Walters earned an impressive comeback victory.

“That was a great experience for the girls,” Coach Milo Rogers said. “They were very evenly matched teams. They got momentum and won.”

Trojan tennis hosts Mission at 11 a.m. Saturday.
