Teresa Mazza, 48, of Libby

Teresa Joyce (Carr) Mazza died Sept. 25, 2013, at her home in Park Ridge, Ill. She was 48.

Teresa was born in Libby, and she graduated from Libby High School in 1983. She earned her bachelor’s degree from Rocky Mountain College at Billings. There, she met and later married David Mazza on Oct. 8, 1988. They made their home in Park Ridge, Ill. Terri enjoyed a long career with YKK, the zipper company, traveled widely and had friends around the globe. She was active in her church community. Among her most favorite things was to watch her sons’ swimming and diving competitions.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Linda (Clawson) Carr.

She is survived by her father, Delbert (Kathy Drake)  Carr of Libby; sons,  Daniel Dean Mazza and Robert Kaylor Mazza, both students at the University of Montana; sisters, Penny (Frank) Kyes, and Wendy (Joe)  Chopyak, all of Libby. She will be missed by her large family in Illinois, Wisconsin and Montana including numerous nephews and nieces.

Visitation for Terri will be from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday, Sept 27, and funeral service will be 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept 28, both at St. Mary’s Episcopal Church.
